About

Hi! I’m Liz.

I live in Philly with my husband, Joshua,

my son, Little Josh,

and my cat, Salvador

and feel pretty lucky to be surrounded by so many attractive men on a daily basis.

I met Joshua while I was working as a cocktail waitress. He had a loud laugh and a Guinness. I spilled a salad at his feet. We were married three years later.

About six months into marital bliss, I was surprised by two blue lines. Surprised. Horrified. Hyperventilating. Nine panicky months after that, we proudly marched out of the hospital with ten of the tiniest toes and a pair of the bluest eyes.

I was a high school English teacher, but those bright eyes and the accompanying chubby cheeks convinced me to trade in my textbooks for full-time-motherhood (and part-time blogging, writing and illustration). Now, I spend my days in front of a computer screen with a son on my hip, a paintbrush in hand, and a home-made latte always in reach.

You can find my paintings on Etsy, my latest inspiration (procrastination?) on Pinterest, and follow the up-to-the-minute descriptions of poopy diapers on Twitter. Or you can always email me.
